Another new class for me......cutting faux bone and attaching to leather. Took me about 2 hours to cut the music note because I had to pick out the hardest focal piece. Why???
The stamping, coloring, and riveting the leather were refreshers for me which I needed. I like working with the leather, but I have to say, I don't think faux bone is for me. Learning new techniques is the way to stepping outside your comfort zone, so I'm glad I did it. The company of my friends is also a benefit of the classes and I met a new lady, Carol. Thanks Colleen for another fun class.
You were the brave one of the group, taking on the most difficult project. Please don't get discouraged with the Faux Bone it was your first time using the saw and you did an outstanding job Ronna! Love the final outcome.
ReplyDeleteHey Girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got home and was wire-wrapping my faux bone to the bracelet, my faux bone piece broke 'cause I cut it too close in one place but I'm not giving up - I'm buying more faux bone and the pattern so that I can finish my piece! My necklace came out perfect and I want my bracelet to be the same! Your bracelet came out perfect, girlfriend!!!! Please don't give up and continue to do faux bone!
